Lets not forget the one use plastic waste destined to land fill given new purpose new life . Just Magic 🧡 .
“ I was so fortunate to come St Leonards from London just before lockdown and got to volunteer for CPP and meet the amazing Pen. What can I say about this brilliant project and woman, well I guess I never left, that says it all”
I have been involved with CPP for quite a while now. I love coming to the weekly workshops and catching up with everyone. I do make many of the survival items at home in my own time each week, I must enjoy ironing! I am also on the admin for our fb groups to help out where I can, it’s fantastic.
We have been volunteering for CPP and the big weave with my twin since it first started. We love helping and supporting our local community, and are so proud that it is now globally recognised. We help out every week and love the community spirit
“I love helping with such a worth while project, and with a great bunch of people!”
Hi. I had all ways wanted to help the poor people roughing it on the streets, especially in the winter, so when I found Pen had started the CPP, I was interested and I'm so glad that I'm doing something useful for them, it's very therapeutic.
I look forward to my Sunday mornings with the CPP. I've always recycled but to give crisp packets a new life whilst helping our fellow beings is awesome.
I feel proud to be involved in such a worthwhile project. The need unfortunately seems to be getting greater.
All the people volunteering are such lovely human beings, full of compassion and fun. Coming into The Art Shack is always a joy.
CPP is such an amazing project and I feel privileged to be able to contribute and work alongside lovely people, recycling crisp packets into useful items for those who need them.
“ It's a real privilege to be involved in such a worthwhile project with such wonderful people making a real difference. “
Giving life to one use plastics and saving lives. We recycle crisp packets by making survival items we are a non profit organisation started and based in Hastings. Working with homeless charities and organisations sending items to vulnerable areas now war zones and national disasters.
Crisp packets are a very strong material this takes over 80 years decomposed. Also the crude oil used to make the packet the energy, resources to create this amazing material. this should not be wasted. It should be put too work
We make create and make new friends this is another string to our bow at CPP Hastings HQ

Why have we done this?
So we can raise more awareness.
CPP wants to help more people, like the education sector, Our CPP Area groups, Mental health sector, Out reach charities. Recycling projects and environmental projects plus as many different organisations and communities as We can. We also want to get this fantastic project to more areas to spread awareness to educate on the benefits of using one use plastics and help our less fortunate communities. If you would like to help in anyway please get involved.
We also hold a free workshop every month weaving plastic bags to make sleeping mats for our less fortunate communities check out our videos and links.
